Idahome Jiu-Jitsu

 Our School

Born and raised in Idaho, we’re a locally owned and operated Caldwell Jiu-Jitsu gym. We pride ourselves in providing a great home for Jiu-Jitsu in Caldwell! Our classes are energetic with individualized training for each student. The military background of our team creates a structured environment that is also flexible to find the best way to train. Come join us for a special experience at Idahome Jiu-Jitsu!

Our History

A lot of our history goes back to our military roots. Gym founder Ryan Chroninger is a military veteran who began training Jiu-Jitsu in combatives. In fact, he started teaching Jiu-Jitsu classes for veterans looking for extra training. Some of the students wanted to bring their kids, leading to expanding the gym in early 2025 after opening in August 2024. But we’ve continued to grow. In 2025, we added a cage and now offer Muay Thai. Ryan has continued to grow the gym with his two sons joining the staff, making Idahome Jiu-Jitsu not just a family-oriented business, but a family-run business as well.

Instructor Johnny Fuller
Johnny Fuller
Instructor

My name is Johnny Fuller, and I live in Nampa, Idaho with my family. We’ve called this incredible place home for the past five years, and we absolutely love it.

My jiu jitsu journey began back in 2006. Since then, I’ve trained extensively in gi and no-gi jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA. Over the years, I’ve competed in countless jiu jitsu matches, stepped into the ring for 3 Muay Thai bouts, fought in 10 pankration matches, and had the privilege of competing in 2 professional MMA fights. I’ve trained with more than five different jiu jitsu academies across my journey, each one contributing to the depth of knowledge I now bring to the mat.

Today, I’m proud to be a part of the Idahome Jujitsu family. Ryan is an outstanding person and coach, and I’m honored to support him as we grow this school and community together.

My passion is helping students build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of jiu jitsu while developing skills that will serve them for life—on and off the mat. In my classes, you can expect a focus on body movement, control, repetition, and a whole lot of high-level technique.

If you’re looking for a team that trains hard, respects one another, and has a great time doing it, I hope to see you out on the mat soon.
